UHMW Pe Tape

Ultra-high molecular polythene tape, one side provided with an adhesive layer, is a transparent polythene tape with reasonable chemical resistance, has excellent wear resistance and has low coefficient of friction. These properties means this a versatile engineering material for many heavy service applications. Materials slide freely over the tape surface with no slip/stick tendency. These polythene tapes are often used as an alternative to PTFE tape, i.e. when high temperature resistance is not a requirement. This tape is always provided with a paper backing.
