PTFE 204 Tape

Skived PTFE tape type: B204-2HD, B204-3 and B204-5

A special PTFE tape with a high-temperature-resistant silicone adhesive, which has a higher density, better tensile strength, lower elongation and higher dielectric strength than standard PTFE foil. The higher elongation of B204-3 allows tighter wrapping on sharp sides or irregular surfaces.These tapes are mainly used for electrical applications, such as the wrapping of an electrical reel or transformers and covering recesses, because of its good insulation and temperature resistance, but also in mechanical applications such as bearings, anti-friction equipment and chutes where high temperature, maximum slip and smoothness are needed.

These tapes are supplied as a standard in roll lengths of 33 metres and can be cut to any width.
